We offer two different standard widths of louvers, 2 1 / 2 and 3 1 / 2 inches. We are also able to make them in other widths in special orders.

All Buena Vista interior shutters are painted or stained using the highest quality lead free paint and stains. Irrespective of which shutter color you choose, our shutters are finished to exactingly high standards The shutter painting and staining process is not something that is rushed. Several thin layers of paint or stain are applied to slowly build up a deep, and long lasting finish for your wood shutters. Amazingly, between all layers the shutters are hand sanded by three different groups of people, ensuring that the shutter finish is always perfect and the shutter unblemished. Finally the shutters are coated in a UV protective lacquer to ensure the shutters are protected against the effects of the sun.
